April 2023 will be a month to remember when the eyes of the world are on Western Australia, and thousands of people head to parts of the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions for an exceptional Total Solar Eclipse experience.
Exmouth offers a rare opportunity to experience a total (100%) solar eclipse. Visitors to Exmouth will have front-row seats for one of nature’s most unusual occurrences – a total solar eclipse – experiencing 62 seconds of totality as the Moon completely blocks the sun.
On April 20, 2023, at around 11:27 am, the moon will cast a shadow that grazes the tip of Western Australia in a 40-kilometre-wide track that passes right over Exmouth. Making it the most accessible land-based place on earth to view the spectacle
